Excellent!

Yoink has beein installed on every Mac I have onwed going back a few years. It is an indispensible tool that does what it should, and does it extremely well. Recommended!

Essential

Works fantastically, just like all the previous versions as well. This is such an essential app for me day-to-day. I love the blacklisting of apps for it to not be activated. My only request would be to have a keyboard shortcut to remove the items placed in it. Top-notch and best-of-class.

I like Yoink more than that other one

Yoink is great, I found it behaves more like I expect it too. Every now and then, that other one (D.Z.) does things I dont expect. Never felt surprised by Yoink, its awesome.

Great productivity app

Wonderful for capturing images while browsing the Internet. It would be very useful to have the capability of having a mechanism for transferring captures from my laptop to my desktop for use in desktop applications. Right now, I have to individually drag each image to a folder on the laptop desktop, then transfer the folder to the desktop computer and then transfer to Yoink.. Maybe a cloud based source (Dropbox or iCloud) for the captures that would be available on each machine. Overall, the app does what it is designed for and does it well. Recommend A+++

Should be part of the OS

This is a great app. No more having to rearrange windows to drag & drop something from one app to another. Just drag it to Yoink, switch apps, and drag it out again. Easily paid for itself in saved hassle in the first few days.

Indispensable

Along with the Finders Command-Z (“Undo”) key command and the simple ‘Snip screenshot app, this is one of my most frequently used items. Kind of like having a muscular and infinitely patient porter to handle one’s luggage.

Awesome App

While I don’t want the app to get ‘Sherlocked’, this is an awesome app with functionality that should be standard in OS X.

Great Utility

Yoink is a fabulous utility, equivalent to having a third hand/arm and an extra monitor or desktop to use when doing drag and drop. If you find yourself struggling with not having enough screen real estate to, for example, add attachments to emails from different folders and perhaps from other open email attachments, this is the app for you. Works great for any drag and drop operation.

Use it many times a day

One of the most frequently used programs on my machine.

Makes organizing files a snap

Yoink makes organizing files a snap and enhances my workflow. Thank you for the great app.

Highly devoted dev makes a fantastic app

An incredibly useful app which the dev constantly improves with updates (which you can read about on his blog). I dont think the app has room for improvement, and then I am proved wrong by another update.

Makes copy/paste possible in full screen apps

It is apps like these, that keep me on macOS - you don’t see apps like this on Windows. I have been using this app since it was first released, on my 11 inch MacBook Air. Even though I have since upgraded to a 13 inch MBP /retina, Ive become accustomed to using my primary productivity apps full screen. Before Yoink, I would have to take my apps back to individual windows in order to drag-and-drop between apps. Yoink fixes this problem. Here we are several years later, this app is so helpful and feels like a native utility, I cant believe Apple hasn’t hired Mathias to make Yoink a feature of the macOS… Nice job Mathias!
